The AGM was well attended by both bredren and sistren, which is a good sign. Included in the agenda was a conference for women It is now left to the newly elected executive to be able to maintain this momentum. Ras Jah D has served as chairman of ICAR Inc before, so he brings to the office some experience having held the top post from 2003 to 2005.
He has a team of experience workers with him to handle the challenges that is set before him. One of the most crucial challenges facing the Rastafari community in Iyanola today is functional unity within the community itself. To minimise the differences between the various mansions and to increase the level of confidence and trust amongst one and others.
